HOSPICE OF HOPE OHIO SUPPORTS THE OHIO VETERANS’ HOME—GEORGETOWN
Hospice of Hope-Ohio Valley, through the VFW Rural Provider Grant, recently made a generous donation to the residents of the Ohio Veterans’ Home—Georgetown. Their contribution will be used to purchase a Bariatric Geri-Chair, which will enhance the comfort of the Veterans living at the long-term nursing care facility located in Georgetown, Ohio.
Michael Parker, Director of Development and PR for Hospice of Hope-Ohio Valley stated, “As a part of Hospice of Hope-Ohio Valley’s ongoing Veterans Caregiver Assistance Program, we are pleased that we were able to provide the funding to purchase this much-needed piece of equipment for the Veteran residents.” The Ohio Veterans’ Home—Georgetown is currently the home to 125 Veterans. “Providing quality healthcare services to those Veterans who have been placed in our care is very important to our staff,” stated Jim Eckerle, OVH-G Nursing Home Administrator. Mr. Eckerle continued, “Being generously supported by organizations like Hospice of Hope, certainly makes our job easier. I thank Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley for securing this item for our residents’ from their Wish List.”
