John Bradshaw’s Living Grief

Seminar Was Well Received
 

On Thursday, October 27th,  Hospice of Hope presented a living grief seminar at Maysville Community and Technical College on how to deal with Divorce.  World-renowned public speaker John Bradshaw was invited to present this dynamic topic to a group of more than 100 people.  John demonstrated ways that those affected by divorce can overcome their anger and how to increase their self-esteem levels.  Participants left with a renewed sense of appreciation for themselves and felt comfortable knowing that others shared similar grief.

Michael Parker, Director of PR and Develop for Hospice of Hope stated, “Our Community was extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful speaker as John Bradshaw to conduct this seminar.  Hopefully his words and wisdom will be put to the test and will provide answers to those that are grieving from divorce”.

Many professionals, including nurses, chaplains, social workers and marriage & family therapist attended this seminar for continuing education credits.  They now also, have a better understanding on how to comfort others who have suffered from divorce.
