Hospice of Hope Staff Achieve Special Certification

Hospice of Hope is proud to recognize the achievements of its clinical staff.  The following employees recently received a special Hospice and Palliative Care certification. This certification in “specialty nurse practice” is an honor to achieve and indicates a tested and proven competency in end of life care.  Hospice of Hope considers these knowledgeable employees to be a tremendous asset to the organization and the communities it serves.

Newly certified supervisory nurses are Tyia Osborne, RN and Jennie Felice, BSN.  All of the nursing supervisors on the staff of Hospice of Hope are now specially certified in Hospice and Palliative Care.

Newly certified Staff Nurses are Diana Hamilton RN, Paula Brown RN, Mary Jo Maddox RN, and Amy Hargett RN.  Over 60% of the 31 nurses on staff have accomplished this prestigious certification.  Also Lisa G. Mack recently received this certification as a Hospice and Palliative Nurse Aide.

The staff has demonstrated commitment to professional development in their specialty practice by attaining this credential.
