This August, Hospice of Hope received a donation in the amount of $5,000 through the General Electric Community Service Fund.   This donation was made possible as part of the generous community involvement of General Electric and specifically the employees of its testing facility in Peebles, Ohio.  GE employees have been giving back to the community though the Employee Community Service Fund for almost 40 years, and the impact that their generous donations have on the day-to-day lives of so many people is amazing.

Such strong community support from corporations like General Electric allows for the continuance of quality hospice care.

Turman Helton, CSF Fund Manager at GE’s testing facility in Peebles stated, “Hospice of Hope is a very deserving organization.  We at GE are proud to be able to attribute funds that will help them provide quality care for those patients suffering form a terminal illness.”

All donations to Hospice of Hope-Ohio Valley go back into the community in the form of hospice services, grief support and the critical need for education and community awareness on end-of-life issues.
