Recently, Hospice of
Hope hosted its annual Summer Gala at the new Maysville
Conference Center. Each year Hospice of Hope organizes this
fundraiser to promote its business and to raise money for
end-of-life care services. This year’s event was a huge
success raising more than 22K for patients who face a terminal
illness.
Michael Parker, Director
of PR & Development stated, “Attributing to the success of the
event were the incredible silent auction gifts we had this
year. We offered everything from trips to Walt Disney World to
out-of-town recreational packages to original paintings. But
enough cannot be said about the tremendous support from our
local business. Without their corporate sponsorships, this
event would not be nearly as successful. ”
During the event, more
than 150 guests had an opportunity to bid on nearly 30 silent
auction packages, participate in the “live” raffle and take part
in the finale of “Let’s Make a Deal”. Throughout the night
guests enjoyed great food from D&D Catering and listened to the
music of R.K. Smith.
Hospice of Hope would
