Mt. Orab Office Building Now Open

Open House Scheduled for October 11th

On Monday, July 24th employees of Hospice of Hope–Ohio Valley took a different route to work than usual.  For many years they had reported to their home office located in Georgetown but this morning they arrived at a new 6,800 square feet office building in Mt. Orab.

Since the early 90’s, Hospice of Hope–Ohio Valley has rented office space in Georgetown.  Due to the tremendous growth of the organization and the region’s demographics, this office space was no longer efficient.  They needed a larger, more equipped office building that was centrally located to their patients and that was well positioned for the expected growth in the region.

After months of research and many discussions, the organization's Board of Directors chose Mt. Orab to be the home of its state-of-the-art office building.  After a 14-month construction schedule, the building stands at 215 Hughes Blvd. and is visible from both US 68 and Route 32.  While the office building is very visible that wasn’t the main objective of the project.

The primary goal when seeking this location and then finally building there was to enhance patient care needs.  This site, which is a sister site to the parent location in Maysville, KY, now has the needed office space to do just that.  Another major factor in choosing this site was to address the travel time logistics.  Being more centrally located to the bulk of its patients will increase response time, which increases patient/family care objectives.

Included with this new building is an expanded grief/loss library where community members can read or check out information related to the loss of a loved one.  Also, this building features a 65-seat community room with a fully equipped kitchen area.  Members of the community are encouraged to use this space for upcoming meetings.

Hospice of Hope-Ohio Valley is a non-profit, end-of-life care organization serving patients in Adams, Brown, Clermont, Highland and Pike counties.  To learn how they can help you or loved ones call at 800-928-4243.
