Hospice of Hope is pleased to announce that Executive Director Kavin Cartmell has received the 2006 Distinguished Leadership Award from the Kentucky Association of Hospice and Palliative Care organization. 
 

The receipt of this prestigious award solidifies the exceptional vision and leadership that Kavin has demonstrated over the years.  Her dedication to quality end-of-life care makes her an excellent recipient of this award.

Kavin Cartmell stated, “This recognition is truly a testament to the drive and skill of the employees of our great organization. Without them, there is no mission or vision to carry out”.
 

Kavin serves on the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization's quality committee and is chair of the Kentucky Association of Hospice & Palliative Care Organization's quality committee.  She is also a member of the Home Care Professional Advisory Committee for the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare organizations.
