Hospice of Hope considers itself a proactive, progressive organization that provides the highest quality care and information possible to terminally ill children, adults, their families and the community.

HOSPICE SERVICES . . .
The hospice philosophy is palliative and holistic -- treating the mental, physical and spiritual aspects of the disease process. An interdisciplinary team of highly skilled professionals follow an individualized plan of care taking each patient's and family's wishes into consideration. Care is provided at home, in a nursing home, or in a hospital setting.

Pharmacists
Medical Directors
Attending Physicians
Volunteers
Support Staff
 
HOSPICE CARE INCLUDES:
    - pain management
    - symptom control
    - emotional and spiritual support
    - bereavement counseling

24 hours a day, 7 days a week


Services also include:
Related medications, equipment and supplies.
• Respite and short-term inpatient care.
• Continuous care for periods of crisis.
Bereavement services for 15 months after the patient's death, continuing the network of support and care established during the patient's life.

Hospice of Hope acts as a community resource by providing free grief counseling to children and adults.

Hospice of Hope also sponsors a variety of educational workshops, memorial services, grief groups / classes and bereavement camps.

The Hospice of Hope Community Resource Library is currently a small but growing and unique source of information to the public and health care professionals.
