Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley and Highland County Family YMCA has collaborated to bring the community a new program to assist people as they move through the grief process. First Step is a program specifically designed for individuals who have experienced the loss of a loved one. This unique program incorporates gentle exercise, healthy living tips, skills to assist in the grieving process, and the support of others who are walking the same path. Join us on this journey.

• Group will meet every Tuesday and Thursday in February (February 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24)

A day camp experience for children ages 7-12 who are grieving the death of a family member or friend. This camp offers children a chance to process their grief through group sharing, art, and music. Traditional camp activities will be incorporated throughout the day.

Workshops and memorial services are scheduled each fall to provide our families and communities an opportunity to commemorate the death of loved ones and gain insight on how to cope with the approaching holiday season.
