Hospice
Volunteers - In Giving We Receive...
No job is too big or too small for Hospice volunteers.
Often the most important thing a volunteer can do is just to be there
for patients, reassuring them they are not alone, holding a hand or
offering a smile. The rewards are enormous. The strength and courage
patients provide is a constant source of inspiration, leaving volunteers
feeling that they have gained much more than they have given.

Hospice
Volunteers "R-US"
Some of our volunteers have jobs and
others are retired. They worship in various places and represent different
ethnic groups. They are men and women. All volunteers complete the
Hospice Volunteer Training course, offered once or twice annually,
(see the latest "graduating class"
of Hospice of Hope Volunteer Training) and many have been a primary
caregiver of a loved one who has died. What
ties all our volunteers together is a desire to give to those in need.
If you would like to become a Hospice volunteer,
please contact Wanda
Paul, Volunteer Coordinator at 606-759-4050
or 800-928-4848.
